Welcoming a Shih Tzu puppy into your family is a special journey, and we’re here to make every step a wonderful experience!
At Shih Tzu Hauz, we thoughtfully match our little royals with loving families who will cherish them for a lifetime. From your first inquiry to the exciting day you bring your puppy home, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Step 1: Join Our Royal Waitlist
Your journey begins by completing our Royal Waitlist Application. This helps us learn more about your family, preferences, and the type of little royal you’re hoping to welcome home.
Step 2: Application Review & Approval
Every application is personally reviewed to help ensure our little royals are matched with loving, responsible families.
Approved applicants will receive a private tracking number to follow their position on our Royal Waitlist. When puppies become available, we will contact eligible families based on availability, preferences, and suitability.
Step 3: Choosing & Reserving Your Little Royal
When puppies become available, approved families will be invited to learn more about our little royals and choose their perfect companion.
Once a puppy has been selected and availability confirmed, a $500 reservation deposit is required to secure your little royal. This amount is applied toward the puppy’s total purchase price.
All reservations are subject to our Puppy Purchase Agreement, including applicable deposit and refund terms.
Step 4: Preparing Your Little Royal for Home
While your little royal grows, we provide attentive daily care, early socialization, and plenty of love to help prepare them for their new family.
Before going home, puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and routine health care. We also introduce early potty-training and crate-training routines to help make their transition as smooth as possible.
Each puppy goes home with their available health and vaccination records, along with our Puppy Purchase Agreement and health guarantee.
Step 5: Welcome Home, Little Royal!
The most exciting day has arrived! Once your little royal is at least 8 weeks old and ready for their new adventure, we’ll coordinate a convenient pickup date with your family.
For families outside California, we also offer nationwide flight nanny arrangements for an additional fee, allowing your precious companion to travel safely with a dedicated escort.
Our love and care don’t end at pickup! We’re always happy to provide guidance and support as your little royal settles into their forever home.
Puppy Purchase Agreement & Policies
At Shih Tzu Hauz, we believe in transparency and helping every family feel confident and informed. We encourage all prospective puppy parents to review our Puppy Purchase Agreement before reserving their little royal.
